The same thing happened to me 2 months ago, I had a period for 7 weeks, go to see your doctor immediately. I don't want to scare you, but something is wrong that IS NOT normal.
I had cysts on my right ovary, they were removed and I spent 4 nights in hospital. I was back to work in 2 weeks from the op, so it's really no biggie. it's a very common problem in women, but do get it checked as cysts do get bigger.
I was told another thing it could've been is a hormone imbalance, so you might get lucky either.
Anyway just visit your doc, it won't be half as bad as you think. (And no masturbation has nothing to do with this)

Good luck and I hope you're well soon.

Go see your G.Y.N....The only thing I can imagine is if you had recently had an abortion, or a miscarriage. Your body reacts the same as if you had given birth, and you bleed for an extended period of time, but even then, it is normally just spotting, not full out bleeding, so you should schedule an appointment with your Gynecologist and get checked out to see what the problem is.

I'm surprised you haven't already killed yourself. This happened to me when I started birth control. Your body might need be kicked off of this so tell your ObGyn and ask her to either
1. If your not on birth control put you on birth control to regulate your cycle
2. If you are on birth control give you a higher dosage either by making you take 5, 4, 3, 2,1 pills over the next couple of days.
It worked for me. Also if it is heavy, take lots of fluids, I ended up in the hospital because I was bleeding from the inside out. LOL.

Go see a doctor. You should be on that long. He will probably give you hormone pills to help regulate that. But It could be a little more serious than that. I had that and it was fibroids. No worries its not life threatening. Just go see your Gynocologist

You should definitely see the doctor. It isn't normal, but in some cases it has happened. Just see the doctor to check, in the meantime don't worry too much. Good luck!

DUH....time to see the doc!

Masturbation has nothing to do with your period...although it may relieve the pain of cramps for a few minutes!

**My question is...do you have a mother or sister? because you really need some real heart to heart talks about all this stuff....you have been severely misguided my dear!!!
