Usually enough HCG is present by the time you miss your first period. Some women are different though. Since your period for June was only 1 day and you totally missed Julys period I would think your Dr. would do a blood test to see if you are pregnant. If he has done the blood test and wants you to wait another month, than that's what you have to do. If he didn't do a blood test, I would consider going to another Dr.

not to talk bad about doctors but they like to make ppl come back for more money.... but if he checked you then maybe he knows something and doesnt want to tell you till its clarified....but HcG hormone is in your system i know this becaus ei go to school for medical.

Blood tests for hCG are the most sensitive and can detect a pregnancy earlier than urine tests. Blood tests for hCG can also distinguish normal pregnancies from impending miscarriages or pregnancies that occur outside of the uterus (ectopic pregnancies).

If a woman misses her menstrual period and wants to know if she may be pregnant, she can purchase one of many home pregnancy test kits that are currently available. Although each of these products may look slightly different and provide a different set of directions for use, each one detects the presence of hCG. This indicator contains chemical components called antibodies that are sensitive to a certain quantity of this hormone.

Hope this helps you!!!oh yea make sure you test ur hcg if its aurine test in the am its at the highest

Not necessarily, some develop the hormone slower than others. If you've skipped your period for 2 months then go to a doc and have a blood test.
