after 65 and israel took over saini . we promised that this will be our land and now , it is over and sadat won the war and sinai is with egyptians
we americans are being fooled agian ...

Unfortunately, I can't tell whether you're asking this as an American, Lebanese or Egyptian.
Did Israel even have to make promises about a quick fight to the US? I think not, because the US was already going to back them, no matter what. There are indications that Israel thought they could win the fight much sooner; they keep talking about how the Hezbollah fighters are much tougher than they had anticipated. But who knows if they are telling the truth or just want to make their conquest of land and water rights more palatable.

No, it's just a tough operation to disarm and destroy a militany group whom is a part of the civilians. They can't just bomb the hell out of everything. Even though the media portrays that, it could be alot lot worse for the Lebanoese people if they did that. It's going to be a long process which hopefully the internation community will let them go at it and settle militarlly. Isreal will prevail hopefully but it will take a while. They need more ground forces, they can't rely on small numbers as we have in Iraq.
