I grow mint and passion flower plants - every once in a while I'll go to the international market downtown and buy a few pieces of sugar cane.
I'll dry the plant leaves and put all of it - the leaves and sugar cane, in a tea pot and let it boil for quiet a while. Then I'll use a small strainer while pouring it into a cup. Sometimes I'll add a little vanilla, but usually it's sweet enough.
The passion flower has a relaxant in it, so if concentrated correctly you can get a nice relaxed afternoon from just one drink.
good stuff

Dr. Pepper. I suppose because it is a drink I grew up with, invokes feelings of nostalgia... I can remember going to Sonic when I was little, ordering a Dr. Pepper with our food, they use to put little plastic zoo animals on our cup, nice times just chatting in the car late on summer nights. I live in Australia now (grew up in Texas) and can't get Dr. Pepper here, miss it so much!
