And if so, have you ever been bollocked for doing non work-related stuff in the office?

The boss is off sick so the other four of us in the office are busy doing our own thing. i am answering questions.
ones downloading music from limewire, another is playing literati against a retired teacher from Idaho and the last one is checking out flight details as she is flying to Memphis tomorrow.

Currently I'm on lunch....

The fact that I've been on "lunch" for the past 2 hours bears no relation to my lack of productivity.

I once got the sack for downloading an image of two kittens (I swear the mouse was this big Ralph!") into a personal folder on a shared drive.

I got my own back on the petty minded manager though, I slept with his brother the day he sacked me and got him barred from his parents house. I also discovered a rather embarrasing middle name of his, which I felt the rest of his employees would love to know.

=)

I just love firefox and its tabbed browsing! I am working hard, typing a lot being very productive. My frown is the typical frown of a person that is in the pains of brain squeezing and real time production. Never been busted because my immediate boss does it too:) so it is a silent agreement between all of us. As long as we deliver the expected results, of course :)

Yeah i'm supposed to be working, but working from home has advantages! Did get caught playing games once in my last job, when i was supposed to be concentraing on a rather important presentation.

Not me, but when I did work I was often told off for not doing the job I was paid for, like I often told them look you pay me peanuts so why can't I monkey around, have a chill and beggar the boss.
