There is a fascinating view on your excellent question to be found in Shakespeare's "As You Like It". It's called the Seven Ages of Man. Look it up!

i think it is filled up with many different circles. from the time you like 5-18, school is a circle. it begins, it ends, you have a break, it begins, it ends ect.

work may be that way too.
i dont know, im sure there are other examples, those are just the ones that popped into my head first

I think life is a line, hence the term 'timeline'

life will be a circle if you keep making mistakes and no one learns from them as it can become a vicious circle.

Very philisophical!

Yes, what goes around comes around, and I think a good example of this is when a man or teenager uses women and is disrespectful to them during his early life, when he settles down he may become the father of a girl or girls that will eventually be dating, yes all that he did will come back to him and he will be scared to death to let his little girl leave the house! So people really need to watch how they treat others, because someway, somehow it will come back.
