The term "poser" (or spelled POSEUR) means "One who affects a particular attribute, attitude, or identity to impress or influence others". So when you call someone a "poser", you are saying that they are trying to be something they are not. Now, this term doesn't really apply to someone who is ASPIRING to be something and is truly working hard to get there, but rather someone who rather would get street cred, or glory for the status of accomplishing something, when they are really only "posing" as someone who has accomplished the hard work it takes to obtain a certain title or status (see also liar). I remember my skater friends calling other kids "posers" when they tried to act like skaters when they couldn't skate at all. Yet they would carry around their skateboards everywhere they went (but never really practiced) and would tell stories to make others think they were pros and could hang with the big boys. But when it came to even a small challenge, they fell flat on their faces and looked ridiculous. Posers.
Hope that helps!

im assuming you're serious. a poser is someone who tries to act/dress/talk like someone they really aren't. of course, calling someone a "poser" is stupid, because as long as someone has a sincere love for and interest in whatever they are doing they actually AREN'T a poser. kids mostly use this term, or really immature adults.

A person who adopts the dress, speech, and/or mannerisms of a subculture for personal gain or in order to manipulate or impress others. A poser does not often share or even understand the philosophical underpinnings of whatever group he or she identifies with, unless it is at the most trivial of levels.

You're a poser if you're acting like something you're not. I think you had the post about corn rows. That would be you acting black, you're white. Therefore you'd be posing as a black person by being a whigger.

i admire google for primary seek and maps. Google has greater perfect outcomes once you put in imprecise stuff extremely for maps, you think of of a place, don't get the proper call and google can locate it, bing has a puzzling time looking places no longer listed on maps specially. Bing is far greater perfect while it comprises pictures and movies however. Bing does have a rewards software that gets me $10 each and each month in basic terms doing searches on there, its no longer plenty yet its greater suitable than google is giving me.
