Lol I'm always reassured by people e.g. Dr Dee, being far higher in terms of levels than me. Trust me, you begin to feel a little sad after a while, as getting to higher levels indicates a true lack of social life lol, and yet you feel compulsively driven to continue and strive for higher levels!
My sister and I are both on the same level (the_other_gal), but sometimes I have more points, though I've answered fewer questions, and vice versa. Getting best answers helps you level up far faster, as you can imagine, with 10 points awarded to a best answer, and 2 to every other. Avoid asking questions also, as these cost five points, which will be deducted from your score.
When your score reached certain landmarks, you level up. 2500 = level 4. I think level 5 is something like 5000 points, so the distance between levels increases the higher you go. Someone on level 7 either spends all their time on here being silly for 2 points a time, or offers worthwhile responses that earn them 10.

Answer lots of questions for 2 points. Give good answers as you will then have a chance of receiving 10 points for best answer and don't ask many questions as it costs 5 points to ask.

Keep answering questions well, (strive for best answer for 10 pts). When you run out of answers, go to the vote page and vote for other people's answers. try not to ask many questions either. When you do ask a question, resolve it. If you leave it open, you don't get the points for choosing a best answer.

Each question you answer gives you 2 points in yer kitty, and if someone/or the author of a question chooses your answer as the 'best answer' you get a whopping 10 points!

Answer questions, vote for the best answer to other peoples questions, get your answer voted as the best. If you click on your points total they will give you a break down on how to earn more points

answering gives u 2 points an answer. choosing a best answer from ur questions gives u 3 points

Here's a kind of cheating way but it works, check back in the questions you've already answered and if they've gone to voting (no best answer picked in time frame) vote for your answer as the best. Usually people don't check back so you can vote for yourself without anyone voting for another answer. I got tons of points doing that.
