When my daughter was 3 months old, I liked to put her in a bouncy chair that had three rattling toys that hung down in front of her, encouraging her to reach out and make them make noise. She appeared to like it, and even now at 15 months old, she likes to rattle the toys, which of course, have been taken off the bouncy chair!

Stimulate your baby's sense of touch with a variety of materials — such as fur, tissue, felt, and terrycloth. And look for books, like Pat the Bunny, that make touching a part of the reading experience.
Now that your baby is starting to grasp objects, this is a great time to introduce hand-held rattles.

All babies are often fascinated by balls. It is advisable to start with soft fabric balls and advance to inflatable plastic and rubber later. Rolling one on the floor back and forth between yourself and the baby keeps him active and provides for bonding between the baby and you.

anything that doesn't have removable parts...teddy bears with thread eyes..not buttons... they tend to start chewing on things and you don't want the eyes to get swallowed!! Blocks, even something like a Raggedy Ann...she's won't be able to choke on any thing from her..
