Agreed, but work is a professional place (argubly) and often it is a good idea to separate your professional face from your personal face. Bringing too much personal stuff to work is a bad idea. That said, there is something to be said for keeping it real, but you have to watch the context with other people. People who are a lot older/younger will not necessarily relate. i.e. I couldn't give a flying bleep about other people's children because I have none and likewise they probably don't care about the bar I went to last week.
Also, being too nice at work can be a downfall. People will pile work onto someone who looks like they can take it.

I think this is not a general quality for all of the people, the fact is that most of us do this often time to get our work done or relationship to be established. I think in some cases that they feel jealous or anxious about you, they do this purposefully, otherwise I don't think that anyone do this is there is no benefit for that. Of course there is small amount of people that do this thing to enjoy!. Anytime that this happened to me I tried to find the reason, and all of the time I could find. In short I don't think this is a general quality for all people.

I agree with "chunga" try as hard as possible to keep your business and personal lives seperate. That way those people have nothing to talk about because they only know your work personality. Plus it will get you through the day faster not worrying about what other people think.

nowadays people are only cares about money.they don't really care about who they are dealing with.as long as they don't get into troubles.sometimes they do that with their 'boss' so that they can get into promotion faster...means they are selfish!!!!
