Really no laws cover that here which is very sad. Best to call other family members to help you, atleast to bring you back to your home country.

This is unfortunate! Unfortunate because in a third world country help is rarely available. Unfortunately because the wife from a third world country could also be a poor lady who has no money to support a foreigner who might have migrated to this poor third world country! It's really unfortunate! Normally, the expectation from a poor country such as a woman from that poor country or third world who marry a foreigner is for that person, normally a man, would be the provider (and miserably enough not only for the poor woman's family but for the entire families). It's a major decision for say a Westerner to marry a woman from a third world country because they have to live with the fact that the woman's legion of family members would "expect" some benefits out of the relationship. I might not have directly answered the question but on the sideline my answer has some implication esp. for those intending to marry someone in a third world country. Again, this is an unfortunate event!

Depends on the law of the country your in. I would'nt think their would be any law against abandoning a spouse unless she steals all your money and passport then that would be theft. If you were a child it would be, child abandonment but your an old geaser who went to a 3rd world country for some "action" now she left you and your stuck....what a moron!!! go to the embassy of your country and get some assistance. Then get the hell out of dodge and file a divorce....and stay away from the "meet asian girls" websites.....

I can promise you that if somebody broke into my house my wife would be my only responsibility... this means whether they broke in to steal a laptop, or they wanted to hurt, injure, or kill us, their @ss would not see the outside of my house alive. If I was incapacitated or hurt there would no one to stop anyone from hurting my wife. I would drop any fool that broke into my house in an instant. I am not paranoid but there are weapons all through out my house. I would claim self defense and I would take people out. If someone breaks the law they have no rights... I would deal with whatever came my way to protect my family.

Reckless endangerment or abandonment. I think that's the legal term for it. You can file a civil action suit against the woman if she's here in the Philippines, and you can always contact the embassy of the husband if he's a foreigner.

None, other than common decency....

Why do you look to the law to solve your problems??? Sounds like a liberal conspiracy.......

Maybe we should file a class action suit
