It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This little test should help you get started.

During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."

Okay, here's your test:
1. Would you use the spoon?
2. Would you use the teacup?
3. Would you use the bucket?

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."

What would you choose?

Ah, a puzzler...

I'd put the spoon into the teacup, put the teacup into the bucket, hit the Director in the head with the bucket, then politely explain - "But darlin'... I don't WANT to be Directed."

If the bath tub was solid and had no plug to pull and I couldn't tip the tub up, I would first use the bucket, then when the water was very low I would use the tea cup then when it was almost empty the tea spoon to get the last dregs out.

If I could only have one implement I would use the tea spoon because then I would be able to empty all of the water but it would take a while.

Alternatively I might tell the psychiatrist to stick his test somewhere nasty. Oops! then I'd have to go to anger management classes.

I would pull out the plug. Use the spoon to stir the tea in the cup and hopefully not kick the bucket.

For speed, I would pull out the plug but that test wouldn't determine 'craziness' anyway. Who says that it's crazy to use a spoon to get rid of the water? If you're willing to spend the time what's the problem? Have you seen some of the crazy experiments they do in universities or some of the crazy schemes governments spend our money on? That's real craziness.

A normal person would pull out the plug, and tell the director to stop talking nonsense.

Bucket til the level was lower then the tea cup til it was lower again and get the last of it with the spoon. I love a challenge, might keep me off here to long tho!!!

Use the spoon to pull the plug out. The option to pull the plug out directly isn't given but they do not specify how to use any of those given objects.

I'd pull the plug, and allow the water to drain out in the usual way.
