There were no Adam and Eve. Humans developed in Africa and spread around the earth over the course of tens of thousands of years. As they encountered different environmental pressures they had to change. Darker pigments keep people from suffering from skin burns and other troubles caused by the sun. Lighter pigments allow people who don't get as much sun exposure absorb enough sunlight to produce vitamin D. Language is influenced by those you speak to most often. After time and separation languages will change and eventually become mutually unintelligible.

As a note to my strict interpretation of the Bible friends:. Not believing in the story of Adam and Eve does not mean a person does not have faith in God. Creation and Evolution are not mutually exclusive. Evolution explains only why there have been changes over time and why differences exist in nature, it does not offer an explanation as to how life came to be. So far science can only speculate as to the process for creating life. As my Sunday school teacher once said to me when I asked her about the Big Bang. "Who caused the Big Bang to happen?"

There is no bona fide proof in either creationism or evolutionism that can show anyone who was, what were, when were, where were, (or why) the first modern humans (came to be). There are many theories that sound reasonable, but the best answer is: We don't know. No one knows what Adam or Eve looked like.
Since neither science nor religion can answer such a question, I believe we must rely on our faith that God did create humans; and brought about all the diversity in us.

Well, the languages came about originally at the Tower of Babel, when God separated the people by languages. From there, different dialects developed over time through separation and necessity.

Different colors of people came about through natural variation within the species based on environment--something that "evolutions" use to "prove" that we all came from amoebas...

This is not a history issue. If we are from monkeys where are our tails. If you were to ask this in the religion section, I would tell you to look up the story of the Tower of Babel.

Have a look around, people who live near the beach and in hot climate have tanned skin. People who live in cold climates have pale skins. People from one town have different accents to others. Multiply these differences over thousands of years and many lands and you will start to see an answer to you facile question.
