It is a most unfortunate and embarrassing fact that about
30 years ago the governments of the world decided that
the populations of their respective countries were all getting
far to uppity for them, questioning policy and objecting to
every little law or statute .....
So off they all went away from their big meeting where it
had been decided that each country would come up with
a solution to this problem .....
A few decided that they would get rid of voting .....
A few others that they would make it illegal to moan and
created police states ....
But alas some thought that with all the technology they
had they would create the IDEAL citizen, one that would
not moan, whinge or create difficulties by asking awkward questions, they tried and tried and eventually with luck and
some genetic manipulation came up with this, the Ideal
citizen ....
Polite, loyal and unquestioning they were, to keep them
from forming such useful things as Identities of their
own they were all given numbers instead of names ....
All went well until one day one of the scientists sitting at
their desk knocked over their cup of tea, this unfortunately
contaminated the special genetic mix, but this went unnoticed,
the second and much bigger batch was then formed from this
mix....
Oh dear, they were not to plan at all, as was found out to late,
they were not quite what was expected at all, rude and loud
they were, persistent so much that they escaped the labs and being so thick and stupid they bred, and bred and bred Th not
a thought to what would happen ....
And that my friend is how come their are so many numbers contaminated with tea out there, the name just got shortened
until the one you rightly use today .... Numpty ....
