I am not saying that the threat is not real but what I am suggesting is that they pick and choose when to make the threats public. I told everyone in this forum that this would happen last month and look it has begun. I expect at least one more terror plot to be made public before the Novemer Elections. What do you think?

This is nothing just wait till October.... watch how things start working out for Bush.. and the republicans.

They need to pull every punch to distract America from the civil war they created in Iraq, gas that has doubled in price in the past 4 years, dozens of republicans indicted & implicated in the abamoff scandel, the billions of missing dollars in Iraq & the Katrina relief fund.. Just wait.

I just hope America finally wakes up and votes these neo-con lemmings out of office.

Deejay - get your head out of your ***!! You and your ilk are so damn blinded with hate for Dubya - you actually think that the TERRORIST and THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION are working together to ensure that the REPUBLICANS can use terror as a campaign platform. Read that statement again and see if it makes sense. Give me good reasons why the terrorist would want the republicans to stay in power especially when the republicans and Dubya has put the terrorist on the defensive and the democraps and liberals have a track record of appeasement and dialog? If you were thinking clearly and logically you would realize this. The terrorist would much rather have weak spined liberals in power rather than the war mongering republicans. You make me sick.

The Republicans used the infamous insipid color terror chart very effectively during the last election. Every time some bad news about Bush was reported, DING, the chart went to orange or red and we all payed attention to the 'terror threat' and not the real issue. There are graphs on the Net that show how terror chart color changes coincided with bad news from the White House around 20 different times. Not a coincidence.

You are totally right. I have also noticed something more sinister.

Terrorist normally attack the on the second Wednesday every eight months, except when Mars is in the high position.

Come on. Get real. Just because you want to see connections doesn't mean they are real. Many people want to think that Bush and his crew are evil so you look for stupid coincidences. The truth is that Bush isn't evil...just incompetent.

It all plays in. It is almost like a soap opera. Most of this stuff is probably crafted by the countries own government. Oops, sorry I had an Un-American idiot moment there. Forgot I am not suppose to question my government!

Have a nice day!

of course the terror plots are not real - hell, even tom ridge said so when he left DHS.

heck, since 9/11, i've felt bush was involved in that actual attack - allowing it to happen, at a minimum. I'll be happy if he stops at terror plots.

i asked my 13 yo to join me this weekend at a rally against this disgusting terror attack by israel against lebanon and my child said "Mom, I'd protest if public opinion mattered in our country."

sad days indeed. most peculiar, mamma.

And what about the 40 terror plots jsut in the USA that has been thearted since 9/11? I mean they were no where near an election time.....there has been about 5 in the last year in Britain, and no one said anything then.....so, why is it that your evil little mind are thinking of this now? Do you think terrorists are sitting back and saying to themselves.....OOPS!!!! election time in America, lets not do anything for a year?

You are reaching... What is it, some rogue Republican conspiracy? U.S. officials are required to make it public once the Brits have made arrests concerning the plot targeting U.S. citizens.

Quit trying to find a conspiracy behind everything.

I see your point. However, I don't think it's a conspiracy, or anything similar. Terrorist attacks have been going on for 25 years, regardless of who's been in the White House. We were attacked under Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, and the current Bush.
Elections make no difference.
They've just been attacking us, growing braver and braver when they could attack without fear of retribution. I don't know why they're STILL attacking. I guess they're so passionate about their cause that they don't see any possibility that they're wrong for trying to kill civilians.
