She want's my family to move in with her when she gets out of the Hospital. She is very stubborn and wont follow her Dr's orders she wont take her blood pressure medicine eats fried pork, salt , drinks coffie she wouldnt stay in the Hospital at first when she had the stroke she made such a scene we had to bring her home then she had another one the same night now she is paralized on her right side. We dont know what to do and we have a seven year old child that is being negleted becouse of this what can we do?

If she's acting like that, her dr. should have been able to request a psychological evaluation for her. If you can get her back to the hospital try that and maybe the mental professional can make a diagnosis. You have your own family and a little to take care of as well. She should understand that it might be better for her to move in with you instead of the other way around. Bottom line though is that you don't have the expertise to deal with how she's been acting. So I would contact her dr. again and ask about the psychological evaluation to determine her mental state. If she's critically ill, there may be a way to force medication upon her, but that would depend on what the laws are in your state. I would ask her dr. about that as well. Taking care of someone after a stroke is no joke, very taxing physically and mentally. Search online for
