I havent seen too many earl episodes yet..... But Love the Few I have seen. I Will be buying the Dvd coming out in Sepetmber.
I dont think Randy can be as Annoying as the ex wife from what i have seen :p.
My favorite episode was the stole Beer from a Golfer........Where they were fighting over who gets to be the Bandit and who was the Snowman :p ....talk about laugh Out Loud!

Randy is not the most irritating character on tv. I think Sandra Oh's character Yang from "Grey's Anatomy" is more irritating.
As for Neil Patrick Harris, it has been so long since Doogie Howser has actually aired that I don't think he is still trying to break away from the image. Yes Randy is irritating.
Neil Patrick Harris was in Harold and Kumar go to the white castle and he played himself doing drugs, stealing their car and making out with chicks... it was pretty funny.

i think neil patrick harris is absolutely hilarious in the show "how i met your mother." i think he helps make the show. as far as randy goes, i don't watch that show.
