Do you like it with lots of vinegar and salt or none at all? And do you prefer "snoek" instead of "stokfish"? Or do you like it "England style"? English fry their fish in a pan from what I've heard. Or do you like it in a newspaper or in white paper? Any opinion acceptable, but the one closest to my style wins 10 points!

I'm passionate about fish and chips! LOL!

"The owner's son remembered us from last time (not everyone eats in the car out front and then rushes in for another order) but we warned him in advance we'd be having just one order this time. Last time cod was the only fish available but now they were offering halibut which of course we had to try. Again, a thick, fresh filet coated with a luscious batter fried crispy dry and wrapped in newspaper. Like the fish, the world class home-cut fries are handled with care and always fried to order - no matter how long the line."

Hey Porgie

Wow, I never even knew they used snoek!! I've always wanted to try it. I like to go fishing and cut up potatoes...saves money!! HAHAHA (",)

Me...lotsa salt and vinegar, but not too much!! Hmmmm...not too sure, we always got our fish from the Portuguese cafees!!

Let me tell you something, South Africa has GREAT fish and chips. Here in Australia it sucks!! The fish is nauseating with all that oil....yuck!!
