They are still going, I saw their new single on Channel [V] about 3 weeks ago, a bad case of the 80s in the video clip.
The reason for their loss of popularity is that their hook was the high pitched vocals, and after the first few songs its appeal wore off.

They got too big for they're boots. They started slating people like Eric Clapton etc. They are still better then anything around at the mo.
