i am 60 (don't know if that meets your definition)and i haven't noticed a great change in 20 yrs.now, if you go back to the 50's and 60's the change has been very great.

i am not old and i can tell u that the lingo has changed, mindsets have changed, the market for convenient instead of long lasting, food is cheaper and less better for u, the environment is getting messed up by the people of the 70's and how they raised their kids and now the younger generation has to pick up for them, if u got hurt in a vacant lot there would be no lawsuit it was just stupid that u were playing there and didn't look what u were doing, u could let your kids in the neighborhood and no worry that they would be abducted or shot....etc

The most profound change in the last twenty years has to be the number of people owning and using personal computers to communicate over the Internet and for work. Most of the rest, fads in food, clothes etc., is merely fashion and appears to go in cycles.

Hi.
Everything changes with time. In 20 years time from now, things will surely change again. It's just a question of evolution and change in technology. You might be thinking that am an old person as you suggest any old people to reply to your question. But am just being realistic that's all.

How exactly do you define "old people?"

Probably the biggest changes I have seen are a decline in work ethics, parents who are afraid to be parents leading to kids who are out of control, and a change in the idea of why we work from I-only-want-to-be-successful-and-be-rich-and-I-don't-care-what-I-have-to-do to I-want-to-be-successful-and-get-ahead-but-I-need-to-enjoy-what-I'm-doing-at-the-same-time.
