Blair's government should at this stage be taking a much, much tougher stance on terrorism than as present. Before it's the case of too little too late.

I understand what you are saying about the death penaltiy but as a way of punishing and discouarging terrorism it would only make those convicted terrorists Martyrs to their own cause by hanging them. Life has no victory to them only the glory which is death.

In my opinion what should happen, an immediate and urgent review of all things relating to the prevention of terrorism. And to ensure that all the loop holes that exist in the present laws that allow terrorist to walk free from justice are closed pretty damned quick before it's a case of too little too late.

Until these loop holes are closed both International and Home grown terrorists will be laughing all the way to they're bomb making factories.

Another matter of great importance related to terrorism is that the Metropolitant Police Commissioner Sir Ian Blair should take further steps to prevent wrongfull arrests and the shooting of innocent cilvillians.

I think that a minority of these terrorists are just mindless thugs who use their own religous beliefs as a cover to reek carnage and mayhame to the very people who are providing them with a better way of living and shelter. They don't give a monkies about their adopted country and are only concerned in finding a way of getting rid of those 'Infidels'

They have no respect for human lives, none whatsoever, not even their own, so meantime innocent people will die until such times, known terrorists are exradited back from whence the came.

Those with British passports should be denounced as traitors and stripped of their British Citizenship. Then shipped out on the high seas in the old Russian Klondkyers and denied all contact with the outside world until they have rotted in hell, because those the old Klondkyer vessels are hell. Ask a Soviet prisioner who has served out a prison sentence of one these boats, and he will tell you that those boats are hell. And that very few survive the living conditions. Not very humanitarin well why should it be.

I do not advocate the eye for an eye culture but until someone can find a way to resolve the terrorism situation. What else are we supposed to do, let them take more innocent lives. I think not.

Yes , without doubt , but by the time the C P S and their Bent Lawers have finished , none will be found guilty and we will end up giving them thousands of pounds in compensation plus free homes Etc. Etc., BUT reality must come soon , in spite of the bullshit put about by the enemies within Great Britain , enemies at al levels, it it so blindingly obvious when you read the newspapers ,listen to the radio , watch the T V , and just look around you.

There are flaws to this argument.

First of all the death penalty, those terroritsts (really potential terrorists as usually they are suicide attacks now) would be seen amongst sympathisers as mrtyrs to the cause. It could do more harm than good.

The families are not usually aware of the problem and do not have the same feelings and thoughts as the terrorists. They should only be punished for crimes they actually commit. Its bad enough having to live with the reality of a relative who is/was a terrorist.

You forget we are in the "European Union," the silly club that STOPS us implementing our own laws!! ( we have to adhere to Human Rights, even with terrorist?!) The only way we could bring back the death penalty is to get out of Europe!(UKIP is the only political party likely to do this) This Government is hell bent on staying in Europe! This means our borders remain open to anyone, and the immigrant problems just go on and on...........
We as a country, cannot do anything regarding your second proposal, again, because of European Law,we would be infringing their "Human Rights"! Where do we go from here? It basically means, anyone can come here, take what they can get, infringe OUR "Human Rights" and if we comment about it, we are accused of being "Racist"! When are the public going to get off their backsides and DO something about it? We are too complacent, too soft, and prepared to let this Government continue its downward slide of the UK!!!

I understand your anger - and I agree with zero tolerance. However, putting to death people who are already willing to die for their beliefs is not the answer, we would just create martyrs. Also, as was shown with the men who bombed London in July last year, sometimes the families really don't know what is going on, and their families are British Citizens so we can't just chuck them out when they haven't been proved to have done anything. You need to think this through a bit more, rather than just having a gut reaction. When we do catch them however, we should be imprisoning them until the day they die, still in jail, no parole ever.

And how do you propose to address the issue of those who were born and raised in Britain and have adopted the ideals of violence and murder as a legitimate expression?

Must we become monsters to fight monsters?

No to the death penalty! Deportation may be a solution in some cases, but the harder we push, the harder we will be pushed against.

The death penalty is government terrorism.
And if the government should be able to do as you wish, they do not have to prove anything to anyone about anything.
It could be you.
Be careful what you wish for.

Perhaps you should instead be asking "When will people ask WHY there are terrorists?" rather than simply swallowing the media bulls**t and assuming they are all evil.
