You know, I think the "taunting and bragging" actually brings some balance into this forum, otherwise known for its strong anti-Italian views.
Maybe if you weren't such a huge Zidane fan, you wouldn't even care, but I do understand that you find it annoying since the final happened to be Italy vs France and your favorite team was so close to winning. Just take it easy and think that it's a game, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Maybe Italy's fans write "we are the champions" and other stuff like that just because they are happy, and they don't mean to offend anybody. Or they want to respond to those who constantly attack Italy and call them "cheaters", "scumbags", "divers", etc, etc.
You can't change the fact that Italy won. But you can let it not get to you. Just ignore those comments (I try and ignore the anti-Italians comments too), keep supporting France and be happy!

I completely agree with you, Touzours!!!!! They always keep taunting us and insulting us, it really is the truth they have taken over this forum. You know, I had actually started to accept their win, and I even said some nice things about their players. But just like they can never play with dignity, they also can never win with dignity, and yesterday, they started up this whole mess again, so I lost all respect I had for Italy once again. I will now tell them exactly how I feel about them and their disgrace of a team. The ironic thing is, that they make themselves out to be the victims. Do they ever stop and think exactly why so many people question their win? Or why so much controversy surrounds it? I was respecting them and complimenting their players, but now, it's a different story. They have shown that they do not deserve our respect, their team deserves to be called cheaters and scumbags because that is what they are. They go around defending Materazzi's pathetic stupidity, and putting Zidane down, and yet they are always blind to what they do. I am like you, sick and tired of all this, I tried to be nice, but it has gone on too long, and too far, and now I will say exactly what I think of Italy! Yeah, Juventina, I wouldn't be surprised if your team wins it again because of their CHEATING ways, I laugh when you say talent, because from where I'm standing it looks like cheating!!!!! Well, there will be vengeance, you just keep in mind. 2010 belongs to DEUTSCHLAND, the trophy is going to Berlin, where it was supposed to go THIS year, if your team hadn't STOLEN it! And just keep this in mind: if your scumbag Materazzi hadn't opened his slimy, sleazy, filthy mouth, then the trophy would be in Paris right now, and honourable players like Zidane, Henry, and Trezeguet would be holding it instead of the cheating, diving scumbags on your pathetic excuse of a team!
