Of course a boy and a girl can be just friends. If you're talking about having a relationship and ending it, you guys can still be friends. For some people it may not feel right and so that's up to them to decide if they still want to keep in contact with the past lover. For other people, they can become friends with their ex because they still want to hang out. But if you're just talking in general if boys and girls can become friends, of course. There's nothing wrong with that.

No (assuming both are hetersexual). Here's why: eventually one will start to have feelings for the other or one will have a relationship with another person and not need the friendship anymore - or the friends significant other will start to pressure the friend to not hang out with them. guy/girl "friendship" is destined to fail.

yes they can but it can become difficult if the two people are good people -we all want somebody that is a good person to be with so sometimes the Friend ship can go were it shouldn't if you have a good friend of the opposite sex KEEP IT JUST FRIENDS

Yes, they can. I have always had more guy friends then girlfriends and I am not a les. I just get along better with guys then I do girls. Even my fiance` knows that and he is fine with it.

yes. for sure they can. i am married and have 2 very good guy friends and that is all they are. We have never had sex or anything. and it would never go that far either. so it is possible to be just friends

Yes, but if you spend alot of time with her, going to places, hanging out or what ever, people will automatically assume that you are romantically involved...i.e. having sex. If this bothers you I am sorry. It has happened to me on many occassions. Of course I did end up having sex with them after awhile. :) This doesnt meant that you have to though!
