Actually the quetsion asked if Brabus was an aftermarket "division" of Mercedes.

No, Brabus is not an aftermarket division of Mercedes Benz, that would be AMG which is the tuning arm of the company. Brabus is a 3rd party tuning company just like Kleemann, Hamann etc.

Ryan is correct. Brabus was a race team way back that took their product to the public. Look at old pictures of MB race cars and you will see the name Brabus.

It's not all Mercedes-Benz, they also can tune other cars to your liking. It might just be German made, though. But yes, they tune Mercedes-Benz to get way more performance out of them.
