Because 9-11 events were committed by (misguided) individuals from specific groups, the American society at large looks at these groups with deep suspicion, though a majority of the group members are law abiding and exemplary in many ways. It is unfortunate that negative actions of a small group can feed and exacerbate the prejudice against a larger community.
