There was a question on here a while ago.. and it said if you had a time machine and could go to the past at any time you wanted, and you could only go with the clothes on your back an one thing in each hand, what would you take?
I said that I would take a history book about sports in one hand ( all games in history and the winners) and I would take 50$ in the other, and I would go back to 1920 ( seems like a nice time )
I would take my little book, and I would bet on every sports game already knowing the outcomes.. and I would be FILTHY STINKING RICH.. Perhaps we'd get to 50 years later, and the 70's and I would inflict chaos with money.. Money can buy everything.. I would be the richest person in the world..

You. I would take you to the past. Where in time?...any time of major conflict, i.e., war, famine, etc., where and when you can see and feel other's strife, and walk in the shoes of other's misfortune and chaos. The past will then become your present and your question will be rephrased.to ask..."If you had a time machine, what is the one thing you would take to the past to bring 'Peace' to the present?"

I would take back a copy of Linux to the time when IBM was looking for an operating system for its PC and sell it to them before Bill Gates does. Then today, I would be richest dude on earth and everyone will would benefit from a more stable and powerful operating system. No more blue screen of death! ;)

I would like to go to join Vosco da Coma and confuse his sailors. If a sea route hadnt be discovered by him, India would have been in a better strategic position. It would b really fun.
