Well first I would recommend that you know how to juggle first. I would start small with thing like balls. Than work your way up. Start lifting weights to build the muscles required to lift a chain saw with one hand and throwing it in the air.
Than start without the blades or the blade guide. Than work up to the blade guide once you have that down. You can start the motor without the blades on. The motor will throw off the spin a little and you need to learn to adjust. Than throw the blade on if you still feel gutsy enough, but don't start the motor yet. You need to learn how dangerous this really is first. Now after you feel comfortable enough, start you engines and go. Just remember if you don't think you can catch it right don't try to catch it at all. Just let it fall to the ground, and all ways be safe. Oh, they also have gloves you could wear that are used to keep you safe with cutting edges. Their made of metal chain links.
Be safe and remember I hold no responsibility if you get hurt doing your tricks.

You should have started schooling a long time ago. Start with balls, then rings, then pins, daggers, and then chain saws. That's the usual order it's learned in. However, if you really feel you want to impress the judge.....you might try being polite and leave the court jester at home.

No, just go ahead and start with the chainsaws....but, take the chains off first.
I suppose you already can juggle something. If not, practice with tennis balls...they have a good texture to avoid slipping, and small and light enough to hold easily.

You're supposed to start with clubs, ensuring that you can catch them at the correct end each time. From there most people go to knives or fire clubs.
I'm not sure chainsaws would work, as the machinery end would be heavier than the blade end.

I don't know why you would want to do this. If you already know how to juggle, I'd start with something like bowling pins then move up gradually to heavier objects. Then finally learn how to do it with a chainsaw that's not running. then go to one that's running.
whatever...

Maybe start withthose little metal nail files that women keep in their handbags. Scissors may be a bit ambitious.
Good luck!! If I never see you post another question or answer on Yahoo Answers I will assume you have chopped off your arms and can't type!!!!

I say just start with the chainsaws - you some kinda wimp? I went onto chainsaws right away and am typing this with my stumps right now - I also lost both legs in a freak smoothie maker accident but it hasn't affected my quality of life any.

i would start with kitchen knives, with blades approximately 7 in. long, then i would work my way up to juggling logs that were on fire. from there i would switch over to juggling migets, and then start to work in the chainsaws, you know, like two migets and one chainsaw at a time, and then go from there. i'd put the migets in a straight jacket just to keep them rigid, though.
i don't know. that's just me.
