My husband and I are going to begin trying for a baby in the next 6 months to a year. I am so excited! Any suggestions/recommendations for making this process go as smooth as possible? Including: supplements, stress reduction, timing, etc? Thanks!!!

Start taking a good prenatal vitamin with folic acid. Also it would be good to start charting your cycle, I use www.fertilityfriend.com, its really easy and tells you when you are most likely to be fertile. If you have any weight to gain or lose, now is the time to do it. You can also start getting in the habit of eating right, cutting out alcohol and tobacoo, and exercising so that it will not be too hard once you are pregnant.

Take a multi-vitamin now that contains folic acid. A good one is called "One a day's women vitamins." Reduce all caffeine intake... try to get it as low as possible. Quit smoking- if you smoke. I gave up drinking (i didn't drink, drink, but I'd have a little now a then.) about a month before.

You should start going to the gym- daily walking routines or something so that when you get pregnant you can still do the routine.

Hope this helps :)

Well I say If you want you can start charting now for when you ovulate and then when ready you will know what time of the month you are ovulating so you can concieve on your first month or 2 of trying. Good Luck ! TTC can be hard sometimes I have been trying for a while.

a individual could not at all spend hundreds of greenbacks for eye-catching race horse if it have been bred from a poorly fed lady and sire. so which you will decide directly to consume protein each and every meal alongside with solid vegetables, staying faraway from sugar, smoke and alcohol. you will decide on the daddy to do a similar.

Eat lots of green leafy vegetables - folate rich foods. I heard you're supposed to do this long before conceiving. Good luck.
