The most effective method to recover is Cognitive Behavioural therapy (Beck ). It aims at changing maladaptive thoughts, which after a period of negative thinking they become automatic. The person is unable to think logically and everything becomes hopeless. Therapy changes negative thougths with constructive ones, and as a result feelings and behaviour alter as well.

I dont know what your situation is and why you consider it hopeless. I am sure that what ever you are going through right now must be terrible. There are several ways to do what you are asking and it all depends on what type of person you are. Many people turn to God in times of need. I dont know if this is an option you would even consider. Friends and family are probably the greatest source of support. Just having somebody else to talk to can make a huge difference. I dont know if this helps or not but...seldom are things truly helpless. And if they are you have to accept that and do what you can to move forward with your life. You dont want to let a bad situation now, destroy the possibilies for the future. Hang in there and never ever give up.

Klo-Jann and Mann:
We recover courage because we realize that we have a reason to live. "Who will take care of each other?" (Mann)
We, simply humans, used to think that
we must have reputation!
We must have face!
We cannot be embarrassed!
We cannot be ashamed!
Nevertheless, the fact rings true - we are weak.
We need help whenever we have a need for it.
We won't hide it.
We pray and find a trusted person such as a social worker to talk to and have our troubles eased.
If we keep our troubles to ourselves and force our face on ourselves, we won't get any help...worse still, our troubles may worsen.
Tips to all of you:
+ If more people knew of it, I will get more help.
+ It's ok to cry!
IN SHORT, WE RECOVER COURAGE THANKS TO HELP FROM OTHERS.

Personally, I meditate. Others may pray. I feel it's important to reconnect to yourself, and to emphasize the positive. No matter how terrible, or how wonderful, something seems, there's always the flip side. Your best day has a negative side, and your worst day has a positive one. I try to focus on the positive to bring back that hopeful feelin'. :)

Hi.
I think that Gamvit is right...
You should pray to God. He is the only one who will help you out. I would also advice you not to lose hope. Always remember that where there is a will, there is a way. Wish you all the best.
