Cant find downloads?

Question

I downloaded a video/speaking 30 sec video from a website. Now I can't find the website or the download. Can anyone advise where does the downloads go on a computor so I can hopefully get it.

Cant find internet site now. But I did download the video but cant find/trace it on the computor. If you can tell me where any downloads would be that would be great. I have check temporary internet files and there is nothing in them. Any other ideas?? I reckon it has to be somewhere

1st: Start-> Search-> For Files or Folders -> Check Look in for all Local hard Drives then
Click other search options -> then Click Pictures,Music,or Video -> Then Click Advanced Options -> Then Enter enter the size and modified date -> Click Search

By this search u will find all video files in ur system-with in the size and downloaded date...

2nd Click Internet Options(Toolsin IE) in IE. Click Settings of Temp. Internet FIles-> It will open a another window-> Click View files->Click type in the window

Here u can find all ur downloded files categorised.


Normally all ur downloads go to Mydocuments or Desktop.

check the websites u hav visited in the IE history.... or
try to chk in the Internet Temporay Folder.
this might help u out!!

after downloading the files, by default it goes to the
My documents, My downloads, or the folder u hav choosen.

if u know the file name(or a part of it) and dont find the download,
then try to search for it on ur computer....

Depends on where u had it set to download to, Try in My Downloads, or in My Documents, or in My Recieved Files.
