oh, yes . if they make mistakes themselves they shouldn't criticize other people.
But in general we should be careful with grammar and spelling because language is a cultural heritage and we should take great care of it.

Because some people spell and phrase things so poorly that it's almost impossible to understand what they say/ask.
Most of us would like to understand the question before we answer it.
Because the 'check spelling' is free and painless and we don't understand why it isn't used.
If people don't want the criticism of bad spelling and grammar, then the spell checker and a little thought should be brought into play and used.
I don't think I'm superior and I never forget to use the spell checker. Grammar, however, may leave a little bit to be desired.

Some people are just looking for something to "show" they are smart but others are genuinely trying to help.
In some cases, how a person types out a question, if there isn't some correctness in how they spell and their grammar, the real question gets misunderstood. If people will take the time to use "spell check", it will prevent many misunderstandings.
Ones who are being "picky" need to take into consideration that not everyone is great at spelling but at least they are trying.

I actually were instructed English is a marginally complicated language to study, (EDIT) ... I disagree with the guy who stated English is effortless to study.(yet I trust the sentiment of their positioned up).. as I actually were instructed with the aid of lots of those who've learnt English as a 2d language ... and the examples i'll supply ought to help clarify why ..... their there 3 words all sounding an same they are noted sore see sea and silent letters knife Lamb Comb gnome and there are a selection of many extra.... Because spelling is one of the first things we are taught in school and if you cannot do that you should be recycled. Just scrap the original and keep the parts for someone that can be useful.

Because some people feel the need to be superior to others. Not to mention they have their own heads stuck up their butt most of the time anyhow.

Surely if someone is too lazy to master their native language they will also be too lazy to cope with any other subject or work they attempt.
