Error 404 means page cannot be displayed.
There's alot of reasons this could happen:
Your not connected to the internet and trying to look at a web page (check your internet connection, try e-mail or a different website)
Too many people are accessing the page (wait and try later)
The address you have typed is incorrect (type it correctly)
You have a firewall preventing web access (disable your firewall)
The page has been removed (search for the page with a search engine rather than going directly to it)
Good luck

404 is an error code from the HTTP protocol (RFC 2616, http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2616.txt )
It says:
10.4.5 404 Not Found
The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No
indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or
permanent. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server
knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old
resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.
This status code is commonly used when the server does not wish to
reveal exactly why the request has been refused, or when no other
response is applicable.

A not found error can mean many things, but, lots of times, you need to check your spelling in the address..
If it keeps happening, the page may have been moved, or is no longer in existence.

hey. no longer some thing is misguided with your laptop, inevitably. this may mean any variety of issues. the only i ought to suspect is that the server itself is having issues answering queries from outdoors hosts. in spite of the undeniable fact that, to make certain the problem isn't on you, visit a command instantaneous (commence->Run->variety "cmd" and hit enter). variety ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter. This flushes the DNS cache on your equipment. next, in conserving with your browser, it must be a good idea to flush its cache besides as cookies and temp files. If this does no longer change issues, have a pal visit an same internet website and shop on with an same approaches you complete to work out even if the problem continues to be. If it does, the server is experiencing some variety of technical problem. desire this helps, tau_zeppelin
