I agree with lil_grin. I think the old guys who draw Betty and Veronica are perverts. Maybe they're nerds who live vicariously through Archie and Reggie. One might be gay, thus the whole Jughead and "I hate girls" thing. Maybe he's just a misogynist.
Anyway, here's a Wonder Woman joke - Spiderman and Superman are hanging out on the rooftop of a building. Superman nudges Spider man and says, "Hey, check it out" as he points down below. There, in the middle of a bunch of empty deck chairs is Wonder Woman. She's lying down in her golden corset, sunning and trying to get a tan. Superman says, "I bet you a hundred bucks that I can use my super speed to go down there a get a piece. It'll happen so fast that she won't even know what hit her." "Your on" replies Spiderman. In the blink of an eye, Superman takes off and is back again. Startled, Wonder Woman sits up after being hit by a blast of wind. Confused, she says, "Did you feel that? What on earth just happened?". Next to her, the Invisible Man sits up and says, "I don't know, but my butt sure does hurt."
That always makes me laugh. But I wonder, is the Invisible man really a super hero? And why is he trying to get a tan? He's invisible.
