Not knowing a lot about fish I would think they never get thirsty. Their systems are probably made so that they don't need to actually drink water or ever get thirsty!

No. Fish never "feel" thirsty. They "feel" wet and slimey.

They don't "get" thirsty either.

we use the term thirsty when we're out of liquid. considering the fish is never going to run out of it (unless they are taken out of the water) i guess they don't.

I dont think fish need to drink,

salt-water fish get what they need through their gills

fresh-water fish absorb water through their skin

well, i think they don't even get any chance to feel thirsty. they always open their mouth. you should try it sometimes. see if you'll get thirsty. tell me if you do...

Yes, for fresh water, they do not like drinking their own pee
