First...Is there enough for the worker to keep him busy? I am a night shift x-ray tech at work now. When i have nothing to do(patients or other duties) I take a nap or do this(mainly this). My boss is perfectly ok with me sleeping as long as there isn't any work to be done. If you want to catch him,set up a small digital camera and tape him sleeping. If you must...

If I caught one of my employees sleeping, that is an automatic writeup, no questions. If they feel the need to sleep during work, then they don't belong there. They can stay at home for all I care, and save the company money in the process. Any further occurrences or other violations would result in further discipline to the point of Termination.

Do you have a union as a results of fact in case you do the contract could preserve you and notice which you get some sleep. i could attend the assembly yet then with courtesy voice your subject which comprise your boss. it extremely is extremely unacceptable that they could do this to you. as wellness exhausted you couldpersistent and that's doubtlessly risky. There are information that teach that being drained is basically as risky for driving as is inebriated driving. the comparable subject concerns are contemporary. loss of coordination and resourceful and prescient and theory types. So perhaps factor that out on your boss. have you ever considered reserving off ill this night? i believe for you i individually do. The place of work human beings have positioned you in an extremely undesirable place and that they shouldn't do this. you will be able to desire to settle for the minutes of the assembly and grant your techniques written down if needed. i think of what they are doing is illegitimate yet given the financial device immediately and type of human beings finding for jobs i think of a few employers earnings on human beings . i'm sorry they are doing this to you. it is not suitable.

I got fired when I was young for sleeping at my night shift job at the local hockey rink. They found out I was sleeping by putting carbon paper under the mattress in the first-aid room where I slept...I think everyone deserves one warning before dismissal.

A positive solution give him / her some thing creative at regular intervals or atleast one assignment per night.
Encourage them to take a break, walk around the office floor every 1-2 hours.
Have atleast one group discussion.

In order to do it properly you have to give them a warning and if you still catch them sleeping then fire them because you shouldnt have to pay someone for sleeping its not fair to the people who bust their *** to making a living.
