jack sparrow for sure... the whole story revolves around him, not will turner! besides, our captain jack sparrow is witty, humourous and flamboyant.
*quoting this news article i read on reuters:
"He [jack sparrow] is the comic gel that holds the enterprise together. The performance is a total delight that somehow combines Bugs Bunny, Peter Pan and Charlie Chaplin. "
johnny depp no doubt makes the best capt jack sparrow. it seems so effortless for johnny depp to bring the character to life. a successful actor should make the audience feel that the actor and the character is one. the spotlight should be on the character, not the actor. but in the movie, what the audience sees is orlando bloom, not will turner; but when capt jack sparrow appears, we can really see captain jack sparrow, erm... you know what i'm saying? (anyway i guess it will not be fair to compare like that, orlando bloom is still a rather new actor, and has a long way to go before he can compete with johnny depp's acting.)
jack sparrow, the character itself is wondrous enough, and the role is played by johnny depp, who makes the character even more charismatic.
at the mention of pirates of the caribbean, the first thing that crosses my mind is the image of jack sparrow, not will turner. savvy?

Pff, Jack Sparrow because he never loses his head. Will is too much of a goodie two shoes. Despite the end of movie 2, I imagine JS will come out on top, likely in part due to his not getting the full time he was promised.
Plus Will couldn't ask out the girl he liked so he played with his sword for 3 hours a day, loser.

jack sparrow, there is just something bout the character that is grippin, i love him, he's got this cheeky sort of charm to him, and it got nothing to do with him bein johnny depp cos i dont like johnny but i love this character
