"Nexus" by Mike Baron and Steve Rude. It has everything - a great lead character, action, humor, relationships, and a killer supporting cast. An animated version in Steve Rude's style would rock. The toughest part would be boiling down the cast and overall story into a movie-length plot.
Realistically, it will probably never happen. Instead, we'll get Ghost Rider. I guess if you can't understand everything about the character in a few words (biker sells soul to devil), Hollywood isn't interested.

If you want something that hasn't been done, I'd go with Strangers in Paradise, or maybe Halo & Sprocket.
As for something already done, a sequel to Batman Begins. I'd use Loeb and Sale's first Halloween special where the Mad Hatter kidnaps a young Barbara Gordon. THat would help show the bond that Bats and Gordon share. I'd throw Zsasz in there too because he's the bomb!

Thor should be the most interesting seeing how he is a god and what not also, the Just-Us Leage, The Tick should be an hillarious one, The Justice League movie would be too complex with too many Heros. But the best one should be BLEACH or Fullmetal Alchemist(both Manga)

I think they should scratch all of the X-men movies and try again. And this time let someone who actually reads the comics direct the movie.

IF they can do a good job of it, and they probably wont so maybe best they dont even try... Johnny The Homicidal Maniac.
If Tim Burton could recreate the Beetlejuice sort of twisted atmosphere and not hold back on the murder and carnage, nor dumb down the plot... I reckon he could be the man for the job.

I think they should have another go at making a Judge Dredd movie. The Stallone effort was rubbish.
I would cast Tom Jane in the lead role, but he's busy making another Punisher movie.
