There's a trick I like to play on people.
I sit them at the computer and focus the username textbox with the mouse. Then I focus the password box and look away from the keyboard.
When the person starts typing the paswrod I focus the username box again, thus revealing part of the password.
And then I guess from there.
Also if you're refering to getting the password off some random username. It's illegal, and not worth trying.

Get them to setup Messenger to autologin, then ya don't NEED their pw.
