Oof. I know you said you can't afford to spend too much, but if you decide you want to get *serious* about it, as in you want to try selling off your handiwork, you have *got* to pay for a quality machine. I am currently in love with buttonsonline.com and their machinery. Not cheap, but good stuff and a good overall value - their testimonials page is full of letters from Badge-A-Minit converts.

The UK firm selling Badge-a-Minute stuff closed and another firm took over but didn't sell the full range and were very difficult to contact so I have started buying the components from the US which actually worked out cheaper buying a couple of thousand badges at a time. You can make pinback badges and self-adhesive badges which are safer for small children, keyrings, mirrors, rosettes and magnets with this system. They also sell a computer program for printing your own inserts.
Since you want to keep the cost down I would suggest finding a supplier of the plastic badges that just snap together without needing a machine. Or you can get self-adhesive pinbacks from some craft shops onto which you can fix a bit of printed or decorated card.
Search on the internet or look at hobbies and crafts in Exchange & Mart magazine.

I haven't been reported once today. Sometimes it helps if you delete all of your contacts. I had a girl once add me for the purpose of getting my account deleted, and she would report almost all of my questions. Deleting your contacts isn't going to help you with violation notices, but it will help if you keep getting the emails that say you've been reported. Just delete everyone for a week and see the difference that it makes.
