wear liquid to power foundation.. lot of brands offer these nowadays

Switch to a non-liquid based foundation. I recommend using a mineral powder foundation. It's easy to apply -- used like a finishing powder -- but acts like a foundation by providing complete coverage. Arbonne offers a Mineral Powder Foundation that stays on all day. I golfed yesterday in 82 degree temps with 90% humidity and didn't have any melting! go to www.arbonne.com and look under the About Face Color products for this product and others!

I should get some free products from Mac for this one. I am a person who sweats a lot, even when I come out of the shower. I found that Mac has like a liquid/powder that helps with this type of problem. I'm not sure what its called but its a nice foundation, that stays on through a lot. Try it and let me know, you could probably get a sample from them if you go in.

You've received some basic and solid advice from the above.

Assuming that your skin is oily you should consider water based and powder options for your choice of foundation.

Laurxallen gave you a very good tip - it's used by performers under very hot lights and does work too. Close you eyes, hold your breath and spray. Wait for it to dry and apply your make-up. (People with sensitive skin should not do this).

If you aren't oily then you must wait for your skin and moisturiser to settle once you've creamed it. Takes about 5 minutes. Then put on your foundation, smooth it out as if you're working on a canvas. Get it as even as possible. Take a large camel hair brush, dip it in some Johnson's Baby powder, tap any excess off and dust lightly over areas such as your nose, cheeks and forehead. Apply any other make-up you want and again dust with J.B.P. Should keep things in place for several strenuous hours of activity.

Keep in mind - powders tend to stay in place (Check the label to see how much grease is in the formula to begin with). Creams, especially on young skin that isn't dry, tends to travel.

If your skin colouring isn't pale enough for JBP there are little sachets of pressed powder books in several skin tones, that you can buy in the States.

To use: You tear out the sheet of "paper" and swab over your face.

Hope this helps!

Skip the foundation on days that it is very hot.
What have you got to hide so much? Almost everyone has some sort of scar on their face. It's almost abnormal now to not have anything. Skipping the foundation will make your skin breath, make you feel lighter and younger. Go for it, girl! Sport the clean look....

Don't use a heavy foundation when you will be sweating or it's really hot.

You should invest in a tinted mositurizer. it's light weight, but still offers some coverage.

Cover girl makes some cheap stuff that works pretty well,

and mac makes more pricer stuff, but worth it.

Loose powder applied with a big brush in a neutral colour will "set" your foundation in hot weather. Carry some with you and re-apply when necessary.

Use Bare Essentials. Or don't wear foundation when it gets hot.

pat some baby powder on after applying the makeup. This will absorb any of the oil and sweat and leave your face feeling velvety and smooth.
