I don't blame her, I would do the same. I don't think that I would necessarily accuse you of being a pervert, but I would definitely say that you were having an affair. An emotional affair that is. Even if you are not in a physical relationship with this woman, you obviously have an emotional connection that is more than friendship based, if she is telling you she misses you when you have never met. I think the first step towards healing your relationship with your wife would be to quit lying to yourself. Be honest, not only with yourself, but with your wife. Tell her why you had to go outside of your marriage to receive emotional support and love. Tell her you want to do whatever it takes to make things better, and definitely consider marriage counseling. This is a big deal, not something that will be forgotten with flowers and a poem.
