I am wondering wether or not to make one.
I know there is a way to make one using Drano and foil, but I don't want anything to go wrong. There is another way using H2O2 and Magnesium Oxide but I don't have those materials.
I am going to use the balloon method if that helps you answer.

That is what I will be doing, but on a larger scale.

My reason for making one is for movie effects. I need a gas that will ignite and disperse quickly.

it's safe as long as you don't mind blowing up the planet.
Also, magnesium can be found at Wal-Mart if you know what your looking for.
If you make bombs all the time, then why are you even asking this question ?

Well, what you are describing isn't really a "hydrogen" bomb which you cannot make with the ingredients you mentioned.
A real hydrogen bomb would definitely NOT be safe for you or anyone else on the planet that wants to remain alive and healthy.
I could tell you HOW to make a real hydrogen bomb, but, one, you couldn't get the necessary materials; and two, no way would I trust you with that information. :-)
My question to you is why do you feel the need to play around with all this stuff...are you trying to hurt yourself, or others?

Oh dear, you can not make H-Bomb by using Hydrogen gas.For making a Hydrogen Bomb,You will need a Gaseous Isotope of HYDROGEN,called tritium,T3.To make this T3,to react with Aluminium, you will have to create PLASMA STATE ,for which an atomic Bomb is needed to Explode instantaneously inside the system to make the T3 react with ( fuse with) Aluminium, thus releasing 100~1000 times the Energy released by ordinary Atomic Bomb.!!! Can you do this.? I think Not.

That is not a hydrogen bomb. A hydrogen bomb involves using Deuterium isoptopes of hydrogen and an atomic bomb like the ones used in WW II on Japan as a detonation switch. I don't know where you are getting your information.

can be purchased from Advent Research Materials via their web catalogue.
Magnesium is the eighth most abundant element in the earth's crust although not found in it's elemental form. It is a Group 2 element (Group IIA in older labelling schemes). Group 2 elements are called alkaline earth metals.
Magnesium tarnishes slightly in air, and finely divided magnesium readily ignites upon heating in air and burns with a dazzling white flame. Normally magnesium is coated with a layer of oxide, MgO, that protects magnesium from air and water.
