the way one reacts to life's seeming curses can turn a tragedy into a blessing.

i lost a son to brain tumor when he was 5. i took up cross stiching to keep my sanity intact. i came up with real nice pieces that now hang in many walls: mine and my friends'. i gave some away as gifts.

past the crying stage, i went back to the university to take my MA in special education-- in memory of a once healthy child who was debilitated by a tumor.

just before graduation, my husband dumped me. to deal with the pain, i buried myself in more work and built a school. i now operate the only culinary school in the country for persons who are mentally challenged.

life has its moments. up to us on how we let these moments of tragedy and happiness affect us.

Part of my life has been tradgedy, but it has only made me stronger in the long run,and more tolerant of losses in life...Every rose has its thorn..(well said & sung by Poison, btw)I try not to dwell on the bad, just focus on making it back to the good..=)
