what rock have you been living under. tattoos defining high society. The only people with money that are defied by tattoos are famous people who kind of fell into the money. Rock stars, actors, and sports people. As for most the affluent then have little or no tattoos and when they have tattoos you won't see them unless they are in swim wear.

I think you need to find a dictionary and look up high society.

I have never know any female who will not date or marry someone because they do not have a tattoo. However i know lots that avoid guys with tattoos and will not date or marry them.

I think you kind of have it backwards. You have been watching to much MTV or something. Just because the shows are called realty TV does not mean they are reality.

It seems to me you are asking two questions here...
Do tattoos define high taste and high society? Well it really depends on the society you are talking about. If you are talking about the Maoris of New Zealand (at least in older times, don't know to what extent nowadays), tattoos are a sign of status and people without tattoos were considered as having no social status. But if you are talking about Japan, it's definitely the opposite. Although things started to change, most of the times it's difficult to even go to a public pool if you have a tattoo. That's because tattoos are usually associated with an organized crime group called yakuza.

As to your second question, I'd be with a guy who has a tattoo, but I have to say it really depends on the size of the tattoo (the one which covers the whole body or weird places is out of the question). I like small tattoos though I would never get a real one and the reason is simple. My father has one and all I've been hearing for the last 25 years is how he would like to take it off (but he doesn't hv the money for it). So yeah, I'm aware the initial excitment can fade away and don't wanna regret it for the rest of my life.

Define High Society

I personally feel that in twenty to thirty years these tattooed people are going to look pretty silly! However, there will be so many of them it will still be excepted.

When I was younger only the rougher side of our society had tattoos. Over the last 30 years they have become popular. I can't think of too many things I thought was cool in my 20s that I would still find that “cool” now. Tattoos don't hurt me personally, so go for it!

Tattoos are a matter of personal taste, personal choice, and a person's reflection of themselves.

Tattoos are, generally, no longer considered to be in poor taste, or only for sailors, or Hell's Angels for that matter.

I'm actually not into tattoo's. I used to think they were cool when no one except "rebels" had them. Now every one and their mother (literally) has one. I'm not a fan of "trendy". That's the one thing I'm so glad that I never did, when I once thought it might be a good idea. If you want to be different, keep you skin naked!

a tattoo is a personal expression of art or of a life event...you dont have to have one for me to like you but on the other hand if you like me know i can't take mine off.....as long as they are tasteful and in a location where they can be in need when the situation calls for it i see nothing wrong with them..

Yes, I would. If he was a nice man. I all so would date a man with tattoos. The only draw is I do not want to see my name on his back in list form!

There's nothing wrong w/ not having tattoos. There body art yes, and are beautiful, but I don't think one should cover themselves w/ them. You shouldn't destroy or cover up what the Lord has blessed you w/. Basically they are beautiful, but don't over do it.
