I find your question very hurtful and untrue, I have supported Manchester United for more years than I care to remember, and I can assure you I do`nt stink. How would you like it if someone said that about your NAN, you must be a very sad person, If that`s the best question you can think of. Because we do`nt smell any worse than anyone else, better than the rest I think, you included.

Because they need to travel from everywhere in Britain except for Manchester to get to the games.
So by the time they've travelled 2000 miles to see "their" team they're hot, sweaty and knackered, and, of course, smelling bad.

It's the polyester in the football shirts reacting to the red colour making them sweat! (Don't go near them with a cigarette - they are also a fire hazard)
