you can never attach a folder. you can only attach the files. attach the picture, not the folder.
if you are planning to send a folder (which contains many files/ pictures), first zip it. use winzip or winrar. now you will be able to attach this zip file and send it. if you are not comfortable with zipping, then attach the files one by one. you can attach more than one file in a single email.

first u should zipped the folder (w/ WIN-ZIP or WIN-RAR etc) so the folder zipped to 1 files ( *.zip or *.rar). then u can sent this 1 file (contains any files in previous folder) by e-mail.
Note: if you tried to sent it w/ yahoo mail, the file should not bigger than 1 MB. the bigger the file you send, the longer u should wait til it done.
