The Beano was best. Bash St Kids were brilliant.

Whizzer and Chips, I absolutely loved it when I was a kid. The Dandy was OK, but not as good as Topper or The Beano.

Beano. What are you thinking? "Cease caterwauling, stout pupil" from teacher to Fatty in Bash Street Kids remains the only quotation from literature that I still remember. And I am nearly a hundred years old.

By the way, will that be pig's whizzer or donkey's whizzer, sir?

Of those two, the Dandy.

Of all time, the Beano. My other half bought me a Beano the other day as a joke for my next big "0" birthday.

It's 85 blinking pence now.....!! No wonder I cancelled my subscription well over 30 years ago.

Still the BS Kids are still in - best ever.
