Traits Required To Become Wealthy?

Question

What takes a man to be rich or wealthy.
To the best of my knowledge i frankly feel that the following traits are required to become rich in one's life.
1. Bravery
2. Wisdom
3. Diligence
Please comment and criticize on my notion. Add your comments and best suggestions. Also try to define these traits in the best possible manner in the context of living, earning or corporate world.

Missing the obvious - spend less than you make.

Live a lower standard of life than usual.

The best way to become wealthy is to find someone that you could meet that is wealthy and try to copy their steps. If you know a very successful person offer to take them to lunch and tell them you want to pick their brain for ideas on becoming successful. You will be surprised how many will accept such an invitation. It is flattering to have someone want to model themselves after you. Also there are lots of good books by successful men and women who are trying to tell you just what you want to know. I own my own company and am moderately successful. My list of suggestions would go like this:
1. Spend less than you make and save. Postponing gratification will make you successful later. Read "The Millionaire Next Door".
2. Get up early and go to bed early. Successful people get lots done before the ordinary folk come in to begin their day. Nothing that makes you successful happens in the late evening (other than brown-nosing and drinking).
3. Have written goals. If you have never written goals go get a book on it or ask someone how. They should be reachable with some stretch, be measurable, have a time established to complete, and should fit into your long range plans.
4. Dress and act like you have already made it. Fake it til you make it. When a promotion is being considered look like the one they want you to be in the next roll. Even if you are working for yourself, people like to do business with successful people.
5. Learn good manners. Read a book such as "Esquires Etiquette for the Young Man" or something similar. Know how to visit the country club, how to tip the housekeeper at the home you spend the weekend at, table manners, office etiquette, etc.
6. Have fun. Life is short. Laugh often. People are attracted to people who like themselves.

Those are not the only traits that can make someone rich. There are lots of ways to become rich. If you are good atleast one skill that's enough.
