10th August 2006 - British Born Asian's are foiled trying to blow up British flights to the USA. Would you get off a plane if there was an Asian passenger on board ?

Yes I think I would still feel safe flying with Asians.
There is a percentage, something like 5% (heard it on radio this morning) that may be suspicious i.e. age, travel plans, travel history, baggage carried etc which security/staff look out for.
I suppose I would have a quick scout around on the plane to see if I could see any 'suspicious' people on the plane but you can't spot em all can you, and when you're on board, you're on board.
I pray before I board, who knows what's gonna happen up there!

The thing is can they (indians,arabs,pakistanis) take a flight to anywhere nowadays wihout being rused by the airport security
Maybe someday someone is going to introduce a segregated air travel to assure passenger's of their safety.

It depends on whether they were acting strange or not. I have no problems with twating a paki. Especially if they are wearing traditional paki clothes, have a shaved head and a big beard. There could be anything hidden in the beard!!

of course not! it can be anyone, it can be an 80 year old Scandanavian grand ma. Just because an asian was involved does not mean all asians are now a danger, generalizations are simply wrong.
