I dont understand why people want to goto Brazil. Brazil has the highest murder rate in the world i believe. If you goto Brazil you have a high chance of being murdered. I live in the USA where gun murders are one of the lowest in the world. Here in Detriot you almost never see gun murders. In Rio de Janerio annually over 100,000 people are killed by guns. What the deal with this. I think its cause the evil, immoral, leftwing, socialist leaders.

OK, Brazil has a very high crime rate indeed.

But at least we are free from terrorist attacks.

Brazil has not the highest murder rate in the world.

on Fox News' Your World with Neil Cavuto, by Congressman Steve King (R-IO), the annual civilian death rate per 100,000, a reliable scale in determining violence levels in a given region, is considerably higher in some United States cities than in war-torn Iraq, cementing the notion that the left-wing media is instilling an infectiously negligent Iraq War bias.

Washington DC, Detroit and Baltimore, just to name a few, incurring 45, 41.8 and 37.7 annual civilian deaths per 100,000,

In Rio it's 50 , so I think Detroit has nothing to boast about.
In brazil the murders are caused my the extreme poverty caused by many years of Right wing policies.

I would much prefer to live in Rio than Detroit, and most people I know would agree with me.

The country which has one of the lowest murder rates in the world is Cuba, and to my knowledge, I think it still a socialist country.

HAHA! Thats the stupidest thing i ever heard. 100,000 murders a year! i highly doubt that. Thats even worse than Iraq. Detriot no murders are you kidding me? Detriot is a shithole. Detriot has much higher murder rates than alot of Brazilian cities i think. Maybe Rio might have high crime but they are good and bad parts of every country. The top 3 safest countries are cuba, japan, and like taiwan. The most dangerous is probably like palestine or something. BTW USA is ranked #1 in gun murders out of industrialzed nations.

Darling, you must be right about the high rate of gun murder in Brazil, but you should be at least careful before saying that Brazil is much worse than your beloved country.
Don't forget that we're better in racism violence and so many other things.
But let's stick to the gunpoint killing issue. The violence in Brazil is a result of a war between classes, it's a money problem. You know, the whole nation is "sponsored" by the richest cities like São Paulo and Rio. However, I wish you could tell me how come USA has an increasing violence issues being one of the wealthier nations all over the world?
Maybe the killing isn't happening in your neighbour or the next city, but what about Iraq and the Lebanon (yeah, don't you forget USA is supporting the attacks).

I think that people want to visit Brazil because there are so many beautiful places and a terrific culture. You can't judge a country with only one city. There are many cities without violence like mine. Actually, the USA aren't free of murders, you can see this in the news every day.

Sorry if my english isn't very good (isn't easy talk in other language).

Pense! O pior cego é aquele que não quer ver. Adeus e, tenha um bom dia!!

Why there are so many attempted against americans in USA?
Why there are so many bombs in USA and why USA killed so many people from other countries? I think violence is everywhere , but for different reasons.
Brazil has violence just as USA ! But it doesn´make the people stop living and stop smilling . Brasil is a big country and the violence is only in big cities and it´s between police and outlaws thiefs.
So you ask , why go to Brazil ? and I Ask you:
Why go to USA? There are so many terrorists there!

The problem in Brazil is a mix of poverty, unemployment, poor economy, leniency to criminals, organized crime, and an appalling level of corruption, against which the left wing government does absolutely nothing. To make things worse, the people have lived so long with those problems that they think it's all normal. Instead of trying to press their government to solve their problems, they prefer to criticize the US, because it's a rich country.
I know what I'm talking about! I was born there!
